DEAD ARTIST SOCIETY
The Dead Artist Society is an artist collaborative group that I was apart of. A few of us began passing our sketchbooks around to one another, creating collaborative pieces in each member’s sketchbook. The artist who started a piece would complete their half and then cover it up before passing the sketchbook on to the next artist. Most of the time, only about an eighth of an inch of the previous artwork was left exposed for the next artist to see. As time went on, we all graduated from school and began showing our work at local art shows throughout Fort Worth, Texas. Although only a handful of us are still actively working together, I hope we can continue to grow as artists and create more awesome collaborations together.
